APNA Annual Conference Abstracts
Each year APNA opens a call for abstract submissions for the premiere event for psychiatric-mental health nursing: the APNA Annual Conference. Abstracts are peer-reviewed by the APNA Scholarly Review Committee and considered for podium and/or poster presentations at the conference. |
APNA Board of Directors Student Scholarship
Through this program the APNA Board of Directors provides graduate and undergraduate students interested in psychiatric-mental health nursing with registration, travel and lodging expenses to attend the APNA Annual Conference, one year complimentary membership in the APNA, and numerous opportunities for mentorship and networking. |
APNA Annual Awards
The APNA Annual Awards honor APNA members who demonstrate excellence in psychiatric-mental health nursing practice, education, research, leadership, community efforts, and more. Recipients are recognized at the APNA Annual Conference, on the APNA website and in the newsletter, and in communications distributed across the country. |
APNA Research Grants
The APNA Research Grants program provides funding to seed new investigators as they begin their scholarly careers. Proposals funded may fall within two categories: (1) Research studies to generate new knowledge to advance psychiatric mental health nursing, and (2) Evidence-based practice change or quality improvement projects to apply evidence to practice. |
